Coach Demarcus Acree is excited to join the Hapeville Charter Career Academy staff as the women's head basketball coach. WIth over five years of coaching experience, Coach Acree looks forward to creating a family oriented program with a winning culture.

After spending his college basketball career at schools such as Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC and Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia Coach Acree began as a community coach at Mount Zion high school. Coach Acree has spent two years as the Head Varsity Assistant at Lovejoy high school where he helped them reach the state playoffs for the second time in 5 years. Coach Acree has also coached and trained for one of the most prestige girls summer basketball programs in the country in FBC Bouncenation (Finest Basketball Club).

Coach Acree was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After spending time in the APS school system, Coach Acree graduated form Holy Innocents. Coach Acree has a B.A. in History and Secondary Education. Coach Acree is currently pursuing his Master's Degree at Georgia Southern University.
